In the United States, a state is a constituent political entity. There are 50 states. Bound together in a political union, each state has governmental jurisdiction over a separate and defined geographic territory, where it shares its sovereignty with the federal government. If we all would believe, a 51st state could be in the making. In December 2024, Donald Trump was reported saying that he could end the war in Gaza as quickly as possible, even as the outgoing Biden administration continues its last-ditch diplomatic push for a ceasefire deal. In the same month, he said if the hostages held by Hamas are not home by Jan. 20, 2025, the date of his inauguration, then "all hell is going to break out." The latter is similar to the remark he made at the beginning of that month:
On January 25, 2025, Trump came up with the idea to relocate Palestinians from Gaza by saying while aboard Air Force One: The next day he was cited: "I would like Egypt to take people. You’re talking about probably a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing. It is literally a demolition site right now, almost everything is demolished and people are dying there, So, I would rather get involved with some of the Arab nations and build housing in a different location, where they can maybe live in peace for a change." He utterly complimented Jordan for having successfully accepted Palestinian refugees* (sick) and that he told the king, “I would love for you to take on more, ‘cause I am looking at the whole Gaza Strip right now, and it’s a mess. It’s a real mess.” Three days later, and in response to Trump's assertion, Egypt's ruler Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said: “Regarding what is being said about the displacement of Palestinians, it can never be tolerated or allowed because of its impact on Egyptian national security.” Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said that Amman’s “position is that the two-state solution is the way to achieve peace”. He stressed that Jordan’s “rejection of displacement is fixed and unchangeable” in an apparent veiled response to Trump. We took parts of Trump's remark seriously because of hundreds of written and videod calls about recolonizing Gaza, and visits by Israeli civilians that have been collected since October 2023. They include two videos about a boat tour along the northern part of the Gaza coast organized by settler extremist Daniella Weiss, and a video showing the Israeli "security" minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir on Gaza soil not to forget the videos showing Netanyahu inside Gaza. On February 4, 2025, Trump came with an announcement that the US will take over — possibly with the help of American troops — and own Gaza after resettling Palestinians elsewhere under an extraordinary redevelopment plan that he claimed could turn the enclave into “the Riviera of the Middle East”. In a later moment, he said, “We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings.” Two days later, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt hailed Trump's "Gaza Riviera idea" as historic "outside-the-box" thinking but rushed to say that he had not committed to putting "boots on the ground" in Gaza. She declined to rule out the use of U.S. troops there. At the same time, Leavitt walked back Trump's earlier assertion that Gazans needed to be permanently resettled in neighboring countries, saying instead that they should be "temporarily relocated" for the rebuilding process. Well, one thing is clear: Besides his attempt to keep himself and his family away from trial over bribery and corruption, Netanyahu was seeking ways to prolong his genocide for one political reason. Donald Trump. But Netanyahu didn't expect that Trump would come with such an announcement. The way he sat in the Oval Office, and the way he stood behind the speaker's lectern during the joint press conference, showed Netanyahu not only smiling the way the devil would do when stupidos sign a pact with him. He exposed himself in a very uncomfortable position. It was clear to us that he had no other choice than to accept this sudden development that shocked not only him but the world. "Israel" (read Netanyahu) would hand over Gaza when the "fighting" was over." There is no Israeli fighting in Gaza. Collected videos distributed by the Israeli belligerents themselves show no direct and visible engagement with the resistance in Gaza. They show only where their troops were videod shooting like from inside houses and where their tanks were firing while the viewer doesn't hear or see anyone of the resistance shooting back. And we're not even speaking about their drone videos meant to brag about how good they are at committing domicide in Jabaliya and Beit Hanoun. "Greater Israel" lost a piece of its puzzle. The space will be filled with a piece of Trump's 'Greater America'. But we don't believe that this would be permanent. We consider his action as a cover. Gaza will be handed over again but to the Israelis. There has always been a collective paranoia among the Israelis since Ben-Gurion defended the secret construction of Dimona by saying that the nuclear reactor is needed to prevent a second holocaust from happening. It is the root of the militarizing descendants of European invaders and crowd-funded people from around the world in historic Palestine, comes from. These people rely** for 69% (SIPRI) on military aid from the US. They have received a staggering total of $158 billion in military aid from the Americans since Harry Truman recognized the renaming of British Mandatory Palestine on May 14, 1948, making 'Israelis', invented by renaming the seized British colony, the biggest recipient in the world. No, it has nothing to do with Hamas, and it didn't start anywhere but the Suez Crisis from 1956 inflicted by Britain and France who sought help from the Israelis. The question arises: Can Trump just take Gaza? We found a lot of views from both Western and Arabic sides. There is a belief that he is targeting Hamas to press the resistance group to moderate and shift its position in the ceasefire talks that are currently about the implementation of the second phase. This doesn't fit with Trump's threat from December 2024 when he was reported saying that he could end the war in Gaza as quickly as possible, even as the outgoing Biden administration continues its last-ditch diplomatic push for a ceasefire deal. The fact here is, that Trump intends to destroy a Middle East policy that the US has been committed to for decades. Well, that is at least something no US president has done before. "I will do what nobody has done." Such kind of attitude fits the profiling displayed in a book titled "Too Much and Never Enough" written by his niece, psychologist Mary L. Trump. So, we don't care about the question of whether or not he can execute his plan. He may or may not because Trump is a dangerous unguided projectile. Trump's intention belongs to the discussion about confiscating the territory of another country in whole or in part. Here is why: As of June 2024, the State of Palestine is recognized as a sovereign state by 146 of the 193 member states of the United Nations or just over 75% of all UN members. It is officially a sovereign state no matter the stance of the Americans and the Israelis. But Trump wants the Palestinian people in Gaza to "leave temporarily" for at least 70 years if not permanently. As of January 29, 2025, the median age in Gaza is 18. The lower-end scenario — based on the deaths of complete identifying information — was found to be 44.4 years. The decrease in life expectancy was higher for men, with a decrease of 51.6% from 73.6 years pre-war to 35.6 years. For women, the life expectancy decreased by 38.6% from 77.4 years to 47.5 years. This means children born on Trump's doomsday will never see their homeland while those who are currently in Gaza will never see their their land again. So, it is about expulsion on such a large scale that we then must speak about ethnic cleansing. His assertion is ill-conceived, and idiotic, while the claim about removing unexploded munitions is a fictional reality as the authorities in Gaza are taking up Biden's dropped garbage. *) During the Zionist conquest of historic Palestine 1947-1948 waged by European Zionists, they unleashed what the Palestinians call the catastrophe or Nakba. Approximately 725,000 more Palestinians were forced to leave for Jordan. **) If you refuse to spend on others (Ukraine had asked Netanyahu for weapons but he declined), you refuse to spend on yourself. Let others spend on you. |
