Food providers are not always the same people who produce and or supply food, as the latter may be the producer himself or a delivery firm. In the context of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, they are mostly vendors at markets and on the street, and in field kitchens.

When the Israelis are attacking these places, it is for two reasons: to stop the availability of food and prevent people from obtaining food. All in line with Yoav Gallant's directive "No food, no water, no electricity, and no medicine." It is an act amounting to the weaponization of starvation, which the Israelis systematically resort to, targeting everyone in Gaza, even the Israeli internees held by the armed groups of Hamas, and therefore a crime against humanity.
