The Israelis have been a war belligerent in Gaza since June 5, 1967, when the then-prime minister, Levi Eshkol issued a declaration of war against neighboring countries. The Israelis never lifted the declaration against the Palestinians, Lebanon, and Syria.

The Gaza war from 2008 was triggered by the Israelis when they breached the 6-month ceasefire agreement under the false pretext that Hamas fired rockets. CNN, however, found out that no rockets were fired. The next war, that of 2012, was also by the Israelis when they assassinated senior Hamas official Jabrari by firing a missile at his car.

Two years later, in April 2014, Netanyahu jeopardized the peace talks by suddenly deciding not to release the fourth and last batch of Palestinian prisoners. In June of that year, three colonist teenagers went missing in the West Bank and were later found dead. Netanyahu immediately accused Hamas and started a war without having investigated the missing and the death of the teenagers.

The 11-day Gaza war in 2021 was not by Hamas, but by Netanyahu when he ignored warnings from them over the escalation by occupation forces and colonists at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and by throwing more oil on the fire by announcing the forced eviction of Nakba survivors living in the Sheikh Jarah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.

The Gaza war since October 2023 has nothing to do with the day when Hamas carried out the surprise resistance attack, as Netanyahu knew for at least a year that Hamas was planning something, but kept the intelligence for himself since the official indictment of 2019, when the prosecution against him was launched over media bribery in 2017, and corruption and breach of trust in 2019.

"Israeli tactics" are actually Netanyahu's tactics to prolong his own genocidal war to please the hardliners, so that he can use his cabinet as a shield to keep the threat of a long jail term away from him while going over dead bodies, even of his own people. These hardliners have only one thing in mind: expel or kill everyone and take Gaza. However, they can't without American help.
