Massacre and mass killing are often seen as acts of genocide. However, it depends on the location, the target object, the method used, and so on.
For example, when the Israelis use a method to kill a large group of people instantly by dropping a 2000 or 5000-pound bomb or firing a Hellfire missile, we consider the attack a massacre.
In the column 'level', we use two terms: atrocities and crimes against humanity. The first term is used when the killing by the Israelis may be a war crime or genocide. The second term is used when it is about systematically choosing the same type of target, like a tent camp or a residential building.
