- In response to the Nakba from 1948, UNRWA was established by UN General Assembly Resolution 302 (IV) of December 8, 1949, to provide protection, food, shelter, healthcare, and education for Palestinian refugees. including those Palestinians who weren't registered before 1950 and those who will come in future generations. It is this mandate that is a threat to the Israeli desire to have the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPT) depopulated from its people to replace with people who are not native to the land.
- This section of the website concerns only the period of November 2023 to March 2024, when Cyprus and the then-foreign minister, Israel Katz, masterminded a plan to sideline UNWRA by diverting the flow of humanitarian aid via Cyprus. Biden's pier was part of that plan. Both were the beginning of further enemization that would end up in brandishing the UN body as a terrorist organization in July 2024.
- The enemization of UNWRA looks like it is part of Yoav Gallant's 'no food, no water, no electricity' strategy. It is an attempt to strip the UN body of its mandate.
