(Israeli) Infowar 2023 / October

Israeli infowars are similar to Russia's infowars as both are using troll farms. However, those of the Israelis are army units. It's actually like China

The IOF Spokesperson's Unit (Hebrew: דובר צה"ל, Dover Tzahal, abbr. Dotz) is a unit in the IOF Operations Directorate, responsible for information policy and media relations. The unit is led by the IOF spokesperson, a brigadier general and member of the General Staff, and by a deputy spokesperson, a colonel. Since August 2024 the spokesperson is Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari.

The unit is also a key player in the public diplomacy efforts (hasbara) of the Israelis The 2015 IDF military doctrine highlights the strategic importance of using the power of the media; economic, legal, media, and political aspects are considered as part of the military approach as much as military combat.

It is this unit that refuses journalists to report from Gaza as allowing would undermine the practice of hasbara.

The occupying war belligerent portrays itself as the only democracy in the Middle East but no single real democracy uses its military for political propaganda.

What is hasbara? The most known explanation is the following:

From Wikipedia: "Israel uses public diplomacy to communicate directly with citizens of other countries to inform and influence them so that they support or tolerate the Israeli government's strategic objectives."

Hasbara is exaggeration and dissemination, whereby exaggeration refers to intentionally making something more extreme or more dramatic than it is, while dissemination is spreading widely.

Example: They claim that the October 7th was a massacre as it have cost 1.139 colonists their lives while the Israelis have massacred, costing more than 41.000 Palestinians in Gaza their lives (Sept. 27, 2024)

Hasbara is just a political language to mislead and indoctrinate, which is the character of Zionism.

On social media, we have found a lot of users describing Israelis as liars without knowing why Israelis are so notorious. It's because of two phrases. The first one is Zionist, the second is brought into British Mandatory Palestine by German Ashkenazis.:

"You may lie if it is to defend yourself"

"If you are accused, blame the victim."
