Starvation is a severe deficiency in caloric energy intake, resulting in a level below that needed to maintain an organism's life. It is the most extreme form of malnutrition. In humans, prolonged starvation can cause permanent organ damage. In Gaza, it leads to a slow-paced death.
On October 9, 2023, the then-minister of "defense," Yoav Gallant justified a directive, that no food, water, medicines, and other humanitarian needs are allowed into Gaza, by claiming he's fighting "human animals," a Zionist version from the Nazi "untermensch", in English: subhumans. He issued no other than a directive of collective punishment, as the directive wouldn't effect Hamas but the people in Gaza.
Israeli colonists have staged many blockades. In the beginning, their actions did look genuine, meaning the blockades were by themselves. But later blockades appear to have been organized by Zionist extremist groups and supported by their so-called army and police who just stood idle and watched. At least one blockade has been found as organized by the Zionist terror minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who is a migrant from Iraq. Three cases of attacks on aid convoys from Jordan are known. One of the convoys was set on fire.
All blockades are setup to press their leaders to stop transitting aid convoys from Jordan through the West Bank to Karam Abu Salem crossing at the border of Southern Gaza. This makes the colonists contributors to the forced starvation campaign overseen by the army unit COGAT.
