While there isn't a universally accepted legal definition of "mass grave," international humanitarian law (IHL) and human rights law contain provisions that apply to them, primarily focusing on protecting the dignity of the deceased and ensuring proper investigation of deaths, especially in conflict situations.
The Israelis have proven that they don't care about the dignity of those they have killed. Found videos show Israelis destroys graves and loot the bodies to bring them into "their territory" to keep the bodies then return them in awful state.
On January 31, 2024, in Beit Lahia, Northern Gaza, locals find 30 executed Palestinians in body bag on the compound of Khalida bin Zayed school. On March 23, 2024, people found on the compound of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, 283 patients in a mass grave who were reported as being executed by Israeli troops. Just two of many more examples.
