Information is any knowledge, facts, or data about something that is communicated or received, serving to inform, enlighten, or provide meaning and context to raw data. It can take many forms, such as text, numbers, pictures, or sounds, and is used to understand the world.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israelis and their followers have been resorting to the merging of information, texts, and ideas about and against everyone in Gaza into one.
A few examples:
"There are no innocents in Gaza, there are 2.5 million terrorists," according to a panelist during a talk show by the Israeli Channel 14 on October 30, 2023. On November 13, 2023, the Israeli Zionist mouthpiece, Eylon Levy, claimed that Hamas is operating in hospitals, while the claim finger points at the doctors and nurses viewed and treated as Hamas. When Agam Berger, a former civilian internee, visited France on June 25, 2025, he said to the French foreign minister: "You have talked a lot about those you see as uninvolved....all of them are Hamas..."
Three examples can be described in one word: conflation. When putting the three examples into legal context, it would be this:
International humanitarian law strictly prohibits the direct targeting and intentional killing of civilians, a violation known as a war crime, and requires the Israeli war belligerent to distinguish between military objectives and civilians. While incidental civilian harm can occur, which is not the case in Gaza, it is illegal if it is expected to be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage, which is the case in Gaza.
Our documentation proves that the Israelis knowingly and willfully refuse distinction of civilians -including journalists and media personnel- and military objectives driven by ideological hate, not just against the Palestinians but the whole Arab community.
