International law strictly prohibits the destruction of agricultural land and resources when used as a method of warfare to starve civilians. This is enshrined in international humanitarian law (IHL), which aims to protect civilians during armed conflict. Specifically, it prohibits attacking, destroying, or rendering useless objects indispensable to the civilian population's survival, including food supplies, crops, livestock, and irrigation systems. Specific objects, including those related to agriculture, are protected because they are vital for civilian survival. Attacking these objects is only permissible in very limited circumstances, such as when they are being used for military purposes and pose a definite military advantage, and even then, with precautions to minimize civilian harm.
The videos that we have been collecting since the beginning only show the resistance operating in urbanized areas except for a few ones, which show operations in open areas characterizing as countryside, not agricultural land.
